Intent

Our curriculum is ambitious, inclusive and designed to help every child become a confident, curious and capable learner. We build on each child’s interests, experiences and individual starting points, inspiring a lifelong love of learning while preparing children not only for school, but for life.

Through meaningful experiences and a connection with the natural world, we help children develop confidence, curiosity and kindness, encouraging them to care for themselves, others, living things and the world around them.

Impact

We know our curriculum is successful because children leave Little Learners as confident, resilient and enthusiastic learners. They communicate with confidence, think independently, show curiosity, care for themselves, care for others, respect living things and appreciate the natural world.

Most importantly, they leave us with happy memories, a love of learning and the confidence to embrace the next stage of their

Implementation

Children learn through purposeful play, meaningful experiences, skilled adult interactions and carefully planned learning environments. Every day provides opportunities to explore, investigate, create, communicate, solve problems and develop increasing independence.

Time outdoors, caring for animals, exploring the changing seasons and learning through first-hand experiences are integral to our curriculum. Our practitioners nurture curiosity, encourage children’s ideas and create meaningful opportunities for children to know more, do more and remember more.
