• Little Learners is an exciting new Nursery and Preschool which opened in Galgate, Lancaster in September 2012. It is located in a building of local interest that has served as both an Old School and a Church since 1859. It has recently been converted and refurbished to provide a modern, secure, Ofsted approved Nursery and Pre-School provision. It offers outstanding care for children from birth to 5 years of age.

    The Nursery provides outstanding childcare through a nurturing and stimulating environment that delivers high quality education and learning. This is facilitated by a close knit team led by Primary School Teachers who are specialists in Early Years Education. One of the Nursery's attributes is that it is a relatively small set up (maximum of 36 children) and it has a strong and cohesive 'family' ethos. We care passionately about each child's future and will develop positive partnerships with parents and carers.

    Anne-Marie Webster is the Manager of Little Learners Nursery. She is a qualified Primary School Teacher. She obtained her Post Graduate Certificate of Education from the University of Cumbria where she specialised in Early Years Education. Anne-Marie has also been awarded Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) from Edgehill University, Ormskirk.

    Kim Morton is the Deputy Manager of Little Learners Nursery. She is a qualified Primary School Teacher. She obtained her Post Graduate Certificate of Education from the University of Cumbria where she specialised in Early Years Education.   • The Nursery is open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm.
    Morning Session: *8:00am to 12:30pm
    Afternoon Session: 1:30pm to *5:30pm
    *A £2 charge will apply for early morning provision between 7:30am and 8:00am and 5:30pm to 6pm.

    Holidays
    The Nursery is open 51 weeks of the year apart from bank holidays and one week's closure between Christmas and New Year. Normal charges will apply on bank holidays.

    Fees are paid monthly in advance and payment can be made by standing order. A refundable £50 registration fee is required to secure a place. We require four weeks notice of your intention to withdraw your child from Nursery.

    Meals and Snacks: We will accommodate any dietary needs and provide healthy home cooked meals and snacks throughout the day inclusive in the fees.
    Additional information: We ask that you provide your own nappies, wipes and formula milk.
    We reserve the right to make a charge in respect of late pickups.
